How our news headlines work
What we show. The feed shows each story's headline, source and link only. We never copy other outlets' articles or use AI to summarize their work. Each item also shows when it was published (ET), and the link opens the full story on the publisher's site.
Which publishers. We only include a source when its terms clearly allow it on a commercial site: an open license (such as Creative Commons), a US federal government work, or feed terms that allow display with credit and a link. If a source's terms are unclear, it's off.
How we fetch. We read each public RSS or Atom feed at most once every 15 minutes, with short timeouts and conditional requests. Headlines get no structured data and never go in our news sitemap; they're not our articles. We don't put ads inside the feed.
Opting out. If you're a publisher and want your feed removed or credited differently, email hello@techcheatcodes.com. We reply quickly.
